Financial assistance for things like rent and utilities is reviewed case by case through an in-person meeting to understand your unique situation. Due to limited funds, unfortunately not every request can be approved.

Our Healthy Communities
Financial Assistance
Assistance with energy bills and prescriptions.
Regular Assistance:Approved applicants receive a one-time payment applied to the energy bill of their choice.
It takes approximately 30 days for the payment to post to the utility account.
Crisis Assistance: OHC provides connect, reconnect, or prevents disconnection with electric or gas accounts. Also, if you are at 20% or below in propane (and are not allowed to charge propane), OHC can assist with minimum delivery.
Follow Up: Once your application is submitted, please do not call to check on your application.
Once we process the initial application, you will receive a notification to finalize your application process.
